Title: DDI-5 Floppy
Post by: Tiojarick on 13:52, 19 January 22
Hi guys! Greetings from southern Spain. Having just aquired my DDI-5 for my CPC464, I want to connect a floppy emulator to it via the 34way external socket. Please does anyone know, should the 34 way floppy disc cable have the drive select adressing configuration, I.E certain wires in the ribbon are swapped over, as for a P.C. OR should the cable connection be 1 to 1, 34-34way without anything swapped over?

No, the "flat cable flip" is a PC thing. Amstrad drives should be connected with a straight through cable.

Bryce.
