Well I inserted my screwdriver in the mic home to try and tune it but nothing happened.

...hello? Can you hear me?

Well, it looks more advanced than other offerings. Interface needs tons of tweaking.

But...a sub model? €3.69 for a month? €25 for a year? Not even able to load a disk unless I pay?

Kthxbai.

Something like that. Not only is the subscription model ridiculous, but the pricing too is way off the charts.

I remember gladly paying -what was it, €5? €10?- for Redream, a unique and much more complex emulator (for the Dreamcast), but this is silly.

I don't know it. But I can say it is not legal, because the Amstrad ROM copyrights.

Or was it only for the Sinclair ROMs?

Well... For emulators, Amstrad gave permission for the CPC ROMs to be distributed freely as long as the copyright message is not changed and that the program acknowledges that Amstrad still holds copyright. Locomotive BASIC is copyright Locomotive Software. But at this time, emulators was free... Except in 1996 it looks the "!CPC" emulator was shareware and they payed 15GBP to Locomotive Software for that. No commercial usage allowed.
