Title: RVMPlayer v0.1.0 for the web
Post by: jcgamestoy on 11:12, 30 April 23
Hello, yesterday at the Retropolis Valencia party, I introduced RVMPlayer.

Rvmplayer allows you to embed an Amstrad CPC or ZX Spectrum emulator on the web with just a few lines of code and auto-load a game.

It is perfect for the websites of new homebrew developments.

It's in an early stage, but you can see how to do it here:

https://www.retrovirtualmachine.org/rvmplayer/

You can also see the first game that has integrated it on itch.io here:

Best regards

Oh that's awesome! Pity it doesn't work with touch screens...

Awesome!

One thing I like about tiny.js is the possibility to drag/drop a DSK onto the emulator and it immediately mounts the DSK so I can use it, when I am traveling to play any game in a browser. It would be great if RVMPlayer could support something similar.

Another feature I'd love to see (which tiny.js is missing) is to download the DSK that is currently used. That would allow to write some BASIC in the browser, save it and download the DSK to later use it again.
