It is actually a very cool and responsive platformer, although if you are not Spanish is difficult to understand who is the main character and the enemies :D
No idea who the hero or the enemies are :D But I do know one thing, this is hard as nails!
The hero seems to be Pablo Iglesias, a presidential candidate in Spain :)

He needs to find votes to win the elections :D
Oh, so it's a political game! At least it makes more sense now - what you're collecting and why.
I read about this in: RetroManiac | Revista de videojuegos retro |Videogames Magazine | Indie | Games (http://retromaniacmagazine.blogspot.com.es/2015/12/ponte-los-mandos-de-coleta-morada-en.html)
This release is a beta (there will be a final release), and requires 128K. The blog post also mentions that a physical release seems unlikely because the shortage of 3" disks.
I think it makes sense that the game is in Spanish as it is really about Spanish current affairs (general election is happening today).
Well, as topical as it might be there *could* be a bit of english to explain for two reasons:
-there are people outside Spain interested in the elections and
-it's a find game in itself, so why constrict it that way?

Nope, never mentioned it once, never posted it on FB or re-tweeted it :-[
I'm talking about here? :p
I'm stuck... what did I need to do to complete the game?
Also, the "Nintendo" section is kinda corrupted... see attached...

I can't speak for the authors; I should have said that in my previous comment :D
I agree, it shouldn't be too much work adding a couple of lines of context even if the game is not translated.

It recently appeared in the shoutbox.

Ah, completely missed that.
I wish fellows from Spain were more sharing with their output :(
The game is a satire about the current political climate in spain. We wanted to make a platformer and while brainstorming ideas for the theme we thought of making a game about Pablo Iglesias and his party's "quest" to reboot democracy in Spain. Dadman did a great job with the character's likeness. The bad guys are 3 politicians, 2 journalists and the riot cops.
You need to pick up all the logos (votes) of the different parties (the logos are satires too) and while doing that the doors will unlock to allow you to get in and pick up the votes with the ¿? sign. Those are for the people that haven't decided their vote yet. If you get the gameboy you can access the "mario" zone, wich contains more ¿? votes.
The more votes you get, the easier that it would be to defeat the final boss.
About bugs and fixes, the programmer (jgnavarro) is working on them. The next version will be released with substantial changes and fixes, but it will take some time. I'll make some changes to the tunes too.
Good work.
Can the programmer tell me why does he used split screen technic on his game ? There is no scrolls, so there is no need using this kind of technics...
I just want to understand, maybe i miss Something... who knows ?
Palette changes.
You don't need to use splitscreen to change your palettes !!
What can I say, I only make the music ;D
But what a great music... :)
@McKlain (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=425) : you've got a new mail...
Ey McKlain, very nice music as always! :) By the way, what about a C4CPC version for it? :)
;D
We should do it when the final version is released. But it would be 128K only.

Very nice! Then I will wait until that version is released to play on my 6128+ :_)

I ended up e-mailing jgnavarro. He asked me to send an additional PayPal payment of €9.50 for postage to Europe after I had placed the order.
I received my copy of the game yesterday. :) It comes in a shiny plastic box with a small instruction sheet and a disc:
[attach=2]
However, I was pretty disappointed to find that the disc I received is one of the notoriously unreliable ones with the 'swirl' patterns on it. :( Thankfully my copy of the game managed to load (on the second attempt), but I don't think 3" discs are so scarce that a more reliable one couldn't have been used instead?
ffs they never replied to my e-mails. I'll try your way then, buying it then emailing them for the actual shipping cost.
If you have any trouble after mailing him, tell me and I'll contact him directly as we meet every now and then.
Argh what's up with Spanish-only :D

I wrote my e-mail to him in Spanish (which I am still far from fluent in ). Maybe that's why I got a reply...
Nice game!
Very good gfxs, the animation is ok, the gameplay simple but effective. Nice music too, though a bit short.
I found a bug: when you go to the sewer, go right. A first column prevents to go further, but when jumping over it, the character can get stuck. I was somehow respawned in the wrong place, floating above. I could reach the ladder at the top, fortunately.
The respawning is also a bit problematic when moving back to the screen you just left! It would be nice if the bad guys wouldn't respawn so quickly.
Good job!
Just so people know, you just have to complete the sale on the website, then you will be e-mailed the additional shipping cost the following day. I didn't have to contact them at all.
Can't wait to receive it now! I took Sardina with it, because why the hell not.
Hi!
as i told you, i was working on 2 loaders to bring 2 games to the m4/xmass/mass storages:
The work is finished, the games are "Adios a la casta 1" & "Adios a la casta 2", Javier Navarro allowed me to upload this versions of the games, and not only that!
he uploaded the versions to the official page!
Don't take care on the titles in spanish of this games, there is no need to traslate anything to english, they are one of the bests plataform games that the CPC
has!. "Adios a la casta 2" strongly reminds me to blues brothers from amiga!
enjoy them!
