Title: Agent XII
Post by: Bryce on 08:28, 26 September 11
Hi All,
       last night I downloaded Agent XII (dsk) from two different sites, but both of them give me an Arkanoid type game. My tape version is the correct side-scrolling game that I remember from back then. Why am I getting a completely different game on dsk?

Bryce.

It does have an Arkanoid type part in it, but as far as I remember this wasn't the first level...?

I can't remember where I downloaded them, one was from NVG I think. The game I remember started with the side scroller, the one I downlaoded was only an Arkanoid type game.

In the NVG version, i suposse that the cracker had a bad day :P, the three levels of the game are independent, and you can launch each of them with:

RUN"AGENTX -> Level 1
RUN"AGENTXII -> Level 2
RUN"AGENTIII -> Level 3

I've been aware of that for ages, but I have finally got round to re-cracking it and uploading it to NVG, so now the version on NVG won't have any problems! :D

Incidentally, I used aPLib for compression, as Exomizer kept crashing when decompressing the second stage. It just shows that Exomizer isn't always the best choice... :'(

Yes, i make the same thing, i have commented a few times that there is a problem in the z80 decruncher (the tool crunch & decrunch without problems), but i haven't enough morale to fix it :P, i preferred waste my time in port another cruncher xDDD
