Post by: andy20066 on 22:57, 27 May 15
i was checking the Sheffield auction gallery catalogue for there next auction and came a cross a box of Amstrad tapes Full Lot Details 0456 - Catmaker Version (http://sheffieldauctiongallery.com/Catalogues/ss040615/lot0456.html) and I just wondered if the price was right and if someone bought them could make a profit from them

What part of "auction" don't you understand? :)

Bryce.

(The estimate says 20 - 40GBP)

Unless you are there on the day it would work out an expensive way to buy it. Auctions always are, and incredibly fiddly as each suction house is different. There will be commission for buying. Say 15%. Another 3% for online buying. Possibly even a charge for paying by Credit Card. And you'll have to pay whatever they think correct postage is... expect £10-20 for that.

If it sold at lowest estimate of £20, it will cost £40 - so at top it might be £70

That's still less the 1GBP per game.

I'd go if I were in Sheffield. Perhaps @arnoldemu could help me out.
