Title: Animation sequences
Post by: jason9 on 09:54, 06 June 17
Hi,
I would need suggestions about good animation sequences on CPC games (or even also demo),  I mean intro or also in-games clips (not sprites' movements to be clear). For example: the intro in Moonwalker or the Elvira animation floating around years ago... Thanks!

Most games and demos from Bollaware have great animated intros etc.

Heroes of the Lance (D&D) has a pretty large intro. Probably the worlds longest too if you are loading from tape, as it displays a full (16k) picture of each hero .. all 8 of them .. and requires you to press space between loading each one. Again not a problem if you are loading from disc, but if you are a loading from tape then be prepared spend the next 45 mins of your life on it. Not like you can go away and do something else while it loads because of the mandatory space presses in between pictures. The 80ïes .. back when we had time for anything  :P

Thanks a lot. Also, just discovered The Running Man has a decent animated sequence too.
