I love Boulderdash but apart from the official First Star games, the only clones I can think of is Lost Caves by Players and R.E.M by Blaby, a budget game that I actually owned back in the day and quite enjoyed.

Were there any others?

To my knowledge none of the Repton games were converted to the CPC. Also,XOR was a kind of weird hybrid with elements clearly inspired by Boulderdash but personally I don't regard it as a clone.
Try Rockford by Mastertronic. You'll enjoy it. It's a little more challenging than Boulder Dash too. :)

To be fair, Fruity Frank is more a clone of Mr. Do rather than Boulderdash.  :)

About Mad Miner.
Does anyone have the 10 extra levels?

Lost Caves. But the hacked level select version Amstrad Action gave away otherwise you'll never get off level 1.

Computing With The Amstrad printed a type-in version called "Diamond Digger": https://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?page=detail&num=3027

You can finish level 1, it's a bit difficult, but it's possible. I played with the original tape version. I remember some of the levels were tricky to finish. You have to try again.

I remember hating this (along with many of Adam Waring's other Speccy games) at the time.
Might give it a fair go tonight. :)
