I was never a fan of his point & click graphic adventures, but I found this to be an interesting fact.

Beneath a Steel Sky was dear to me because all the artwork was done by one of my favorite comic book artists: Dave Gibbons (of Watchmen fame).

Yeah, that's the one I played the most.

1997 was my most Revolution Software year: I discovered Lure of the Temptress in an MS-DOS pirate CD (remember doing "DIR" on the "ADVENTURE" folder!) during my 3 month exile at my dad's house, but was super confused and quickly switched to other games. Later in the year, I bought the Playstation (my mum's house didn't have a computer or home console, only the Game Boy!), which was a life-changing experience for me as I was 17 and going through a crisis, and completed the beautiful, but boring Broken Sword demo.

Some years later (2000), one of the first games I downloaded from Home of the Underdogs was Beneath a Steel Sky. This one I played some hours into it, but it was a bit frustrating and also abandoned it.

If you like Watchmen, try Miracleman and the Time Twisters/Future Shocks collections by the same hairy writer.

Interesting, I didn't know this.

I've played a few of the Broken Sword games over the years and enjoyed them, I may take a look at some point to see where it all began!

The original goat puzzle or the toned down version in later releases? Not that the later version were that much easier though, tbh.

It ruined what was otherwise a pretty good adventure in my opinion. I've played the first few Broken Sword adventures to completion, I only really gave up on the one that wasn't really an adventure game (and I think I've got the one that comes after that on GoG but never got round to actually playing it)
