Hi chaps
Working my way through games i remember seeing adverts for but never played and stumbled across Chaplin. Any idea what you are supposed to do??
::)
Wow! I have totally forgotten about that game.
My memory of it is a bit hazy, and I was playing the PC version back then (on a Hercules card with CGA emulation. :D )
You have a budget and need to shoot scenes. During shooting you're controlling Charlie and have to do his stunts. I can't recall what happens, when you're successful, mainly because I sucked at it. Was it a newspaper that prints your box office success?
The idea for the game was good, definitely ahead of its time.
Looks kinda complex. Better have a look at the manual on cpc-power:

Pick a film, start shooting a scene, and then walk up to the other characters and press the FIRE button at just the right moment. It's pretty straightforward, but not easy.

Did the game feature that? I can't remember and I fear I'm mixing two games. :/
Will have to find the dsk and play it again.
also just found it on world of spectrum , they list it under Starring Charlie Chaplin.
Thanks chaps now I can go away and play it properly! :)
