Title: Dave Chapman - Sorcery - Gang of five
Post by: ivarf on 08:43, 23 February 17
Dave Chapman from Virgin - Gang of five wrote Sorcery for the Amstrad CPC. I believe it was his first Amstrad game. Do anyone have more information about him, his games and the Gang of five?

This is fairly accurate. I think a few may be missing:

That's a start, but there is no Sorcery on that list. From what I have googled so far, he was the one convincing Virgin that it was economically sound to release games for the Amstrad and he was the coder for the excellent CPC version. Certainly he must have done something before Sorcery, at least on other computers?

Yes this guy/gang of five  , seemed to put a lot of effort into the CPC version's , Sorcery /Strangeloop . decent games that run like an Amstrad game should do.
Strangeloop plus ,what enhancements did this version include?

The Gang of Five was Dave, Andy, Ian, Steve and Tricia. But who did what? Who was the excellent graphics man/woman? And where do Charles Goodwin fit into this? He is credited for Strangeloop with the Gang of five. Later Charles is known for Titus the Fox and Prehistoric, he did the graphics for Prehistoric and "adapted" Titus the fox" for the CPC whatever that means... Information found on cpc-power.com

I find it hard to find out much about the Gang of five, there seems to be little information out there, I haven't been able to find any interviews with them yet
