I have been trying to make a 3.5 disc with Double Dragon I (the disc version by Richard Aplin) to load it in my 6128 plus. First I tried with the commercial disc dump dsk. But it did not work. Today I tried with two crack versions downloaded from cpc rulez. Despite I can read the files in the disc, when I run the dragon. (or doubled. ) file the screen gets black and the 6128 plus freezed. Do you know if there is any incompatibility with the 6128plus (by the way I can execute the second part correctly from the XOR crack).

That's the right question. :)
When using a 700 KB format on drive B, then it's important to have ParaDOS (or what else) on ROM number 7 since most of the games initialize ROM 7 as DOS.
As an alternative one can patch a game / application to initialize another ROM number instead of 7. I did that f.e. for the OCP art studio, but it's kind of tedious to do this for everything. Therefore having Parados / VaraDOS on ROM position 7 is helpful.
The main problem is that this game doesn't play with parados on several 6128 that I have.
Also the emulator does the same.

Are you trying to run the game from drive B? There are three cracks of Richard Aplin's version of
Double Dragon that can be downloaded from CPCRULEZ. I've tested all of them with WinAPE, and they all try to load the game data from drive A. CACH's crack crashes on Plus emulation even before the intro is displayed.
No problem here: CPC6128+ with Gotek HxC and Parados 1.2 form C4CPC
The game runs very slowly :-[

Sorry, just out of curiosity cause I'm not a + series specialist, but wasn't the 6128 + equipped with a 3" disk as the original 6128? Perhaps are you talking about an external 3,5" drive?

From my memory, the original disc uses a loader that calls direct into the disc ROM, but the functions are moved in the Plus disc ROM and this causes the problem.

But there is also another Plus Edition (http://cpcrulez.fr/GamesTest/double_dragon-plusedition.htm) version
Tested Double Dragon 1 (http://cpcrulez.fr/GamesTest/double_dragon_1.htm) TB Crackers version with success on my CPC 6128+ Gotek and C4CPC.
Only Cach version doesn't work (Reset).
Obviously I tested HFE version for the Gotek.
