Referring to Contrapedia (https://contrapedia.wordpress.com/contra-conversions-cpc/) in Gryzor one can switch between audio or FX output. But how can this be done? Is there a key combination or something similar?

Not sure to remember well...
Should be the ESC key from the main screen.

Apart from the fact that right now for some reason I got the Commando tune stuck in my head, I remember discovering it by accident back then... quite surprised. Pity there's no combo mode!

I suppose that was printed into the user manual... Provided when you bought a game. ;D

I have put two fast AY compatible ICs on the PlayCity to allow to play sound and sfx at the same time.
It just require that some peoples provide games patch... 8)
