I am aware that Multi-load games in DSK format do not work in the ROM builder. Some games that are multi-loaded work when converted to SNA
I've found a list of SNA games but I can't find newer games like Pinball Dreams, R-type 128k etc in there
Could anyone advise please?

I think you may not find updated lists because it is quite easy to make it yourself:
1. Download the games from CPC-Power or CPC-Rulez.
2. Load a game into an emulator like Retro Virtual Machine or Winape.
3. Save your own Snapshot:
-From Winape-> File-> Save Snapshot ...
-From RVM go to the hamburger menu icon over sup. left part -> Save State ...
4. Finally build your ROM into Dandanator with the new SNA.
Thank you for the reply. I downloaded RVM and created the machine but how do I load the games please?

The machine has to be a CPC664 or CPC6128 (cpc464 for tapes CDT). You can drag and drop the DSK file inside the blue screen. Or in the upper menu there is a floppy icon. By pressing, two disk drives appears. You can drop at the lower drive (the upper is the 2nd or B: drive).
Also you have at the lower right the button for the disk menu appears, to insert/eject , create (new) or explore disc.
After insert the disk you write CAT to view the directory, and RUN" name of the file for execute it.

Thank you,
That saves as a .rvm file instead of a .sna - will that still work with the Dandanator please?
Pinball Dreams, and R-Type 128kb , Those games will not work on Dandanator, they would have to be modified to work, Dandanator can handle large roms, but the game has to be prepared for this hardware support.
Here we have a great collection of roms for Dandanator: https://auamstrad.es/software/coleccion-de-roms-para-dandanator-y-des/

You are right, the new RVM v2.1.20 is different.
I'm using the "RVM v2.0 Beta-1 r7 version", because it has developer functions. It saves state like .SNA (the only option), does not have .rvm option.
And I tried that .SNA file under Winape and same machine config (CPC664 with OS664+BASIC664+AMSDOS) and it works, it's compatible. With other setups it fails.
But still I don't have CPC Dandanator (I'm making one), only ZX, I think it works similar. In my experience the snapshot must be done in same emulated machine for the real HW target connected to the Dandanator.
