"These were in-store videos that used to be on a continuous loop in Boots in the 1980's, early 1990's. The sound always used to be turned down; hearing this cretin now, I can understand why."

Well, makes sense. I've done LOTS of in-store videos, not once did they come with audio. In fact, I don't think I've ever used a professional monitor for in-store promotion that even has speakers nowadays!
