In (presumably) more than one CPC game, there is mention of Jean-Michael Fenton Records and that the game's soundtrack is available on them. One such game is, you guessed it, Gryzor :) I tried searching for this, or the label at least, and after a long while I've come up with nothing. Would anyone happen to have more information on this and whether game soundtracks were actually released under this label?
PS, perhaps I should just create a "great Gryzor discussion thread" and lob all of my future questions in there :P
There were two employees at Ocean Software: Roger Fenton and Jean-Michel Masson, both worked on these games as far as I know. Any chance they were just releasing the music under their own label?
Bryce.
I think it was just a silly joke of theirs dude :)
It is an homage to Jean-Michael Jarre... @MacDeath (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=221) can elaborate on this ;)
I agree with the inside joke hypothesis.

J-M Jarre actually did the music for L'Arche du Captain Blood.
else I don't know about this story, was perhaps a joke.

Strange! I always thought Yves Lamoureux did the CPC music for Captain Blood.

It was based on John Michael Jarre track though
Indeed, I think it says so in the credits, too.
I remember showing Captain Blood to a friend of mine back then; he was half-French, so he exclaimed "Oh! JMJ!!!". I had no idea what he was talking about back then :D
