Really great to see new CPC games released this year!

Only thing I miss:
Where's joystick support? :(

Looks good for a MODE 1 platformer, way better than the Spectrum version. Great to see new games though, and for the creators to put so much effort into customising it for the CPC so it doesn't just look like the Spectrum version. They're making good use of their flip-screen tiled platformer/overhead view engine.

It might have been nice to have some palette changes between screens for variety, maybe a colour split for the top scoreboard.

Feels like a really well coded game to me, and the MODE 1 + the chosen colors + music really gives a great atmosphere.

Sadly not very original... But nicely done. I especially like the jump system. The graphics looks good too. How many are they in this team ?

IMO less colours but no attributes clashes is always better...

Yeah this one looks good, will test it.

Mode 1 at its best!
VERY nice colours and graphics, psychotic music.
Seems to be a really good game.
I´ll test it too.

I've been playing the game for a while this evening. Here's my verdict.

The world itself is great, and I love the colors; they are very suitable for that world. Graphics are really great.
But as Targhan says, it's kinda trivial, seen before, and not so original. It's all about walking and jumping. So the difficulty is actually only put in avoiding nasties, and thus designing the levels so that it's difficult to avoid them. And they are nasty indeed, and annoying. :-)
You'll get tired of the music relatively fast, since it's the same they play over and over again.

Still, I think this is clearly a quality game. Just take it for what it is, and don't consider it some revolutionary new gameplay invention. Lala Prologue appeals to me much more than their other new game, Cheril.

I like this type of game and the graphics are great.  Love the MODE 1 old school feel  :)

Only gripe is the music got annoying quickly...!

Their've made excellent use of Mode 1 graphics and have used the 4 Colours to Excellent Effect
Tune for me is cute, I kind of enjoyed making little tunes by jumping on those Spikes!  ;D
Plays quite well, some problem solving tactics need to be applied when jumping from Platform.
Has some difficulty about it which in a way is fair - you have 100 Lives when you begin after all.
Overall it's an interesting little game for people who enjoy games like Roland in Time and Monty on the Run, it's a nicely crafted game.  ;D

I agree with this. Cheril of the Bosque is much too easy, but Lala Prologue is much more of a challenge - and I also like the MODE 1 graphics a lot better than the MODE 0 graphics used in Cheril of the Bosque.
