Title: MIA Preserved: Vidy Vody
Post by: Dubliner on 20:13, 04 March 25
Damian Scattergood has preserved his never released game Vidy Vody, which was originally developed for the Amstrad and later ported to the Spectrum. The interesting part was that New Concepts intended to sell the game together with a Helm with tilt swichtes that would allow you to control the hero moving your head and pressing a thrust button. I´ve written a piece about this game -sorry, only in spanish- and recorded a small gameplay video.

Damian will publish the game in the following days, probably on his itchio (https://scattergoodstudios.itch.io/)

Dev: "Hey, Mr Project Manager, I can't get that damn flicker to go away no matter what I try!
PM (playing with a finger surfboard) "Worry not, nobody's going to notice".

Nice it's been preserved tho :)

If you ever wondered how would that game be played with such a control, we just built one last weekend in Madrid. It was actually quite fun to play!

Beware! Lots of swearing in spanish.
