QuoteAs you may know it, Condense (https://www.pouet.net/groups.php?which=8&order=release) basically spent the last decade creating demos for the Amstrad CPC 6128 (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/CPC_old_generation), releasing Pheelone (https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=53498) (2009), Phortem (https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=61465) (2013) and phX (https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=75725) (2018).
We started to get some interest lately for the Amstrad Plus (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Plus), thanks to productions like CRTC³ (https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=72279), Eerie Forest (https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=72271) and the incredible remakes of Ghost'n'Goblins (the one from Xifos/Targhan (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70chJagwJzQ&t=1542s) is released, and the very promising one from Golem13/iXien (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=begnxQ6KqYw) is still in development). And of course, let's not forget Gerald that has made an incredible gift to the Amstrad community by releasing the C4CPC (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/C4CPC), a fantastic device allowing the launch of custom programs running from a SDCard directly on the real machine.

Quoteo today, we are announcing our next ambitious project: a GAME for the Amstrad GX-4000. Don't ask: we don't provide any more details for now
Booh!
A Plus Doom clone could/would be amazing.
One that requires online registration 😆
No Doom clone and no online features. Sorry. Will you sell your console? 8)
Sorry @norecess (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2409) no gx4000 here, just two 6128 Plus machines and they will have to pried from my "cold dead hands"!

And DRM, don't forget DRM.
Show us a video or screen shot!!! We can't wait...
Have we seen a cart game yet that really pushes the system to the limits? I guess that we're about to....
The first images/video of the game will be released during the Alchimie demoparty (beginning of November).
I *finally* managed to win an auction for a reasonably priced GX4000 today, looks like it was just in time!
(here's hoping I didn't get scammed again...)
Best of luck,
If you get it - get a two player game of Pang going with family or friends - its still a great (addictive) Plus game ;D
Hopefully these projects won't become vapourware like Pinball Dreams :'(

Do not be rude with BG. The game is really finished
In fact copyrights is not compliant with an intention to sell...

I am not being rude, just realistic at this point. What they produced is awesome, no doubt about that. The technical feat is astounding but at this point I cannot ever see it being available and therefore the Vapourware title fits. Only a select few people will ever get to experience/play the masterpiece.
They could create new tables and name it BatPinball, but I guess they are trying to reach an agreement before resorting to that.
There is a big difference between being vapourware and being in limbo. Vapourware doesn't simply mean "unreleased", it's a perjorative term meaning the developer is hyping it without being able to finish it. Pinball Dreams is finished, it's just in limbo for legal reasons outside of BG Games control.
Thanks @pelrun (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1106) for clarifying that.
yeah Pinball Dreams isn't remotely vapourware. The game itself is done and exists.
My projects are much more vapourware as i really don't know if they'll ever be even half complete cos i'm crap at everything.

I don't think so, you just need time, clean thinking and focus :D

No, it is not appropriated as the game exist and it is possible to play it on CPC events. A vaporware is a rumour of something that nobody have seen..I think that is abusive to use this word for this game.
If PD was just released what would really happen? Are the copyright owners really going to lose sleep over a very niche piece of software or is it being held with the intention of selling it for money?

Didn't you tell me that we should not broadcast a preview of xezéfeé"&errf-GX (argh...my fingers slipped :-X )
Btw (since I got the question) the game targets the Amstrad GX-4000 but of course, it will also run on Amstrad Plus computers. :)
Can't wait to hear what this is. New GX games are always a good thing.
Yes, a canadian cold game ! maybe spanish guys will be interested about cpc+/gx4000 programming after that...

Why should be spanish guys be interested in CPC+? Maybe should be british or greeks or germans or people of Mordor, sorry but this must be the most stupid thing that i have read ever.
In my case, i have a CPC+ and the Gerald cart, and the CPC+ is the most boring CPC machine with unuseful and silly extras (the worst sprite system ever designed, even the Atari 2600 one is more fun and useful) that are hacked to the CPC architecture in the most anti-cpc way (memory mapped vs i/o ports). And only because the Gerald cart the machine is a little more useful... for pirates that love convert the worst cracks ever made using a tool that we have not source.
Sorry, but show me more 6128 floppy friendly game, more Orion Prime and less CPC+ shit.

If you're talking of Nocart (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Nocart), that's not a fair comment. The source is included within the zip file.

It is fantastic to discover that i am wrong :) I didn't know that there is an alternative to the old no$cart :)
One important thing, i have not been speaking about this project, i am sure that this project would be great, as everything that norecess always make.
I have answered specifically to Ast and his stupid comment.
No worries @SyX (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=324) :)

I received something similar ("pay flight ticket to Alchimie party in France") but (politely) refused. While I sincerely appreciate the offer, I believe there is something wrong about accepting money for a hobby time.
(EDIT 29 Sept 2019: after clarifying the situation and making sure about the expectations, I finally decided to accept the offer.)
It shall be known by now that i offer a free week vacation in my small hotel to any amstrad programmer and i shall do again to Condense once they completed their game for the plus amstrads. For me offering a week vacation to the programmers is the way i can contribute to the amstrad society. My offer will change my life in a positive way, bysharing what i have,i will not get any richer nor poorer,so why not to offer what i have.In total i wish i could have been a doctor saving thousands of lives and their families after the patients but i cannot be such a doctor.Offering free vacations in my small hotel is my contribution in making this world better.I guess, you all know the greek philoxenia term .Pardon me but i do not accept any hint about my intentions.thank you.
PS.okey ,i admit i accept a little black humor about my intentions by the amstradians!
Thanks @amijim (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1950) . Yes, this is really helping the community, there is nothing wrong about that.
Some news about the game:
- BLAST ANNUAL 2020 will feature special coverage about the game with some exclusive content 8)
- BLAST ANNUAL actually became the official sponsor of the game, cf. a win-win situation where the magazine benefit of exclusive content + us having more coverage of our game. 8)
- It's official, I (NoRecess) will be traveling from Canada to France to discuss and present the game @ Alchimie this year 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
As a reminder, the game will be first shown at Alchimie -- no copy of the game will be ever released till the game is not 100% finished (only Youtube videos will be published).
But... What kind of game it is ? Say more !!!
Othello masters 2019 ;D
I'm hoping it's going to be ATOM SMASHER: RELOADED! In 3D!

I keep the exclusivity for people coming to Alchimie.
Alchimie demoparty is in 1 month. @GOB (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=872) (Iron) that would be nice if you could come and join us ! :)
Sorry but not for me... It's the past for me now this kind of meeting.
No desire to go there.
