Hi cpc users !
If you were snoring during french lessons at school, you will be disappointed :-(.
I have just finished and spreaded "Le mur de Berlin va sauter", an adventure game originally done on Apple II computer by the french editor "Froggy software" in the last century.
You can download it there :

Berlin? It should speak German!
The lack of a wall in Paris (or any other French city) kind of makes the storyline pointless in any French location.
Bryce.
That's exactly right, so it's pointless to use French language. It would be fine with English or Antarktican though.
Well, the spy in the game is french ;D .

And he can't speak German in Germany??? Worst spy ever! 8)
If germans speak french ingame too, it's not a problem! :-\
I imagine if you could hear them, they'd all be speaking French with German accents? :)
Restez groupir !!! ;D

The game is really well done; it looks and sounds very professional!
The MODE 1 to MODE 0 line fade between the intro screens is amazing!
Top job all 'round!
Also...
I like the CATart, too. It's very stylish! The use of "01 01" to create the "brick" either side of "FROGGY SOFTWARE" is a really nice touch!
Are there any plans for English, German and/or Greek versions in the future? (Though, my English is almost as bad as my French!)
Look pretty cool! Nice music too!
I'd like to see at least an english version of the game, and I'm pretty sure there's enough people here at the CPCWiki that would gladly help with the translation.
Keep up the good work!
Of course!
Sure !!
Hi,
If anyone is interested in doing an english or spanish or german release, why not. I can give you the main sources but you will have
to wait a little bit before I spread them, just to let the time to french adventurers to discover by themselves the end of the game :-).

Guess I can volunteer for the German translation. However I would need at least one partner to help. And the English translation too.
Nice ! So we need one more brave cpc warrior for the translation !
I hope the engine will be able to handle properly german particularities. I might be cautious to begin with the
english release. This might help you to know what's possible with this bad code :-).
Just played this a bit. A real shame there's no english version, but I could help if this is still alive...
What a nice intro tune!!

You did get the German translation? Let me know if I can help in any other way :-)
Hi,
Nich has begun the english translation. I have to update a little bit the game as english has some particularities that my "words analysis engine" does not handle properly. It's not my top priority at the moment, but I will do it in the next weeks :-).

Don't stress you out, once a while a bit a work and it can even be fun :) :) :)
It looks very good however I am going to have to relearn French
