Oddly enough I was playing this myself earlier this evening. Had this as a kid and played it a fair bit back then. A great conversion for sure, looked great, but also a lot harder than I remember it!

I remember this coming to the arcades and it was like wow this is amazing .  Later when it came to computer I bought it and was really pleased it was actually very good.  A really good conversion.  Thunderbolt is OK, I have a gx4000 copy but not as good as wolf, I think the levels go on too long and too many enemies to shoot, maybe someone else could help out their finger on why it's not so good?


I last came across a real machine in the wild in an arcade down in Bexhill on sea about 3 years ago.  I expect the place has closed down now as the guy was pretty grumpy

As a game Wolf is hands down more enjoyable... though Thunderbolt is certainly not bad in technical terms, it's just not as much fun as Wolf.
