Yesterday I discovered and played a game called
Pang (https://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?page=detail&num=3360)
According to CPC-POWER, it's a type-in program published in Schneider Magazin in 1988.
Don't expect fancy music or impressive graphics, but here's why I enjoyed it:
- It reminds me of the small games from Titus Collections Vol 1 & 2.
- Simple, addictive gameplay that delivers instant fun.
- It's kid-friendly! I played it with my son, competing to get the highest score.
- A typical game lasts just 2-3 minutes, making it perfect for quick, enjoyable sessions.
I found a video here:
I had a great fun with STAR FIGHT when I was a kid : star fight © hebdogiciel (1985) (https://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?page=detail&onglet=dumps&num=2390)
It's more limited (no boss), but it's frantic and the animation is so smooth.
Great pick
@Jean-Marie . The game play is very nervous in that one loll (and a bit too repetitive for my taste). But, GOOD! :)
There is also Crystal Mission that is fun to play as a little game. Also a magazine type-in (made by the demomaker Face Hugger).
@Jean-Marie So I played Star Fighter. :)
I scored 190700.Will you be able to beat me? :P
The contest is open to everyone else on the forum too, hehe!
Let's have some fun... Can you feel that early Christmas vibe? 🙂🎄

Haha, yes, that's what I realized after my post. I never claimed to be a great gamer! ;-)
