The rays (?) effect is really nice, pity the rest of the gfx is do simple, not even with some dithering...

Nice idea! A reimplementation in mode 0 with CRTC overscan and catchy beat music that manipulates the waves or goes in sync with them, would be awesome!

My only complain after looking quickly at the video: I would suggest making the ship invincible (with blinking) for 2-3 seconds when respawning.

A nice bg tune would also be cool.
