Happy New Year, guys.
I dumped "Schatzjäger CPC" a few years ago via my CPC Plus 3" -> 3,5" -> CPCXP
The game doesn´t work on Plus machines (original 3" copy) and even if I create HFE files for the HxC (classic 6128) it doesn´t boot.
So, please help to archive this very rare CPC game (a working version dsk, cpr and or hfe). CPC Power doesn´t have it and there are almost no info about the CPC version on the web!

I suggest you to get in touch with dlfrsilver (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/profile/?u=137)
He is regularly doing preservation dump (disk or tape) and is contributing to cpc power.
Thanks! :)
Yeah, right. I also know him from the EAB.
Maybe my DSK files are good enough...we´ll see.
The dump is missing track 40 :(
schatz attempts to read a sector on track 40 and fails.
there is data here..
Can you redump it with track 40 and 41?
Ah, I see.
I already did a new dump with 42 tracks today.
I only have an USB fdd atm, though.
Any chance to convert the disk with it?
My setup for dumping: CPC 6128 Plus 3" internal, 3,5" external, c4cpc (doesn´t seem to work with the external drive)
Can´t use the 3,5" drive with the original 6128 due to a missing cable...
Do you have a minibooster or cpcbooster and a pc?
you could use arkos tools to dump from 6128plus to pc?

Sorry, no.
BTW, I used Discovery Plus to copy the original 3" copy to 3,5" disks.
"Schatzjäger" doesn´t seem to be protected, so I guess all I need to do is to transfer my 3,5 disks via CPCXP.
But I´m not sure...
I think the sector(s) on track 40 has a different id than normal, but I think it's valid (no crc error) because the standard disc rom routines are used to read the data.
Do you mean CPCDiskXP?
I think that would be good enough.
Try it, attach it and we'll know.

Yeah, CPCDiskXP of course. ;)
Ok, I´ll be back with the new dump soon. :) Thanks!
it seems to read valid data in sector id 6D
protection system anticopy like in Toad Runner i think

Great news!
Check out the first post for a working version of the game (41 tracks) plus disk scan! :)
Have fun.
