Title: Searching for a working version of Jim Power
Post by: viddi on 12:20, 02 February 11
Hi!

I´m after a working (and trained) version of Jim Power.

The only version that works on my 6128 Plus is the MAZESOFTS-GPA (http://cpcrulez.fr/GamesDL_arc/index.php?download=0202xx4a696d5f506f7765722d4d7574616e745f506c616e65745f5f4d415a45534f4654532d4750412e7a6970) release.
Too bad it refuses to work after the first level.  :(

Any ideas?

Thanks guys. :)

Well, i dont think there actually exist a working+trained version. The game is pretty well protected with some gaps (cant remember exact technical stuff). The game was discussed a while back by the community because there didnt really exist a working version at all. In the end the clever heads made a working version and i think it veen uploaded to (top one):
http://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?page=detail&onglet=dsk&num=1209 (http://www.cpc-power.com/index.php?page=detail&onglet=dsk&num=1209)

It isnt trained and may only run with some emulators, but there are at least some pokes on that page too (that will hopefully help).

Thanks for your info. :)

BTW: The CPC CD still contains the GPA release. It should be replaced with the original GAPS protected one.
It´s a pity that this version doesn´t work on the real thing.

Or did anyone tried it with the HxC Floppy Emulator?
