Hi
SOH Tactics GX is not working at all on my config. I have Amstrad 6128 plus with M4 Board and when I'm trying start SOH Tactics GX all what I can see is shown below

In middle of photo is flash light (better quality on my phone with it)
Just to say, I don't know anything about M4 boards so I've directed the poster here where I assume someone can advise ;)

What I can tell you, is that it works with my M4, using Unidos library feature at least (I don't know if it because of that if it works though).
It's a 512ko ROM, have you disabled 16-31 rom slots on your M4 ?

You're right, I hadn't tried it on the M4 because I have the original game on cartridge... but after having tried it on the M4, neither version 1.1 or version 1.2 works,

Probably something in this. The visible glove graphic is in cart blocks 0-15 whereas all the other graphics (the ones which have disappeared) are in blocks 16+.

It was the problem! ROM slots 16-31 should be disabled.

Are these 16-30 slots needed for something important? For what these slots are needed?
You can put additional roms in there if you want to. But if you always have them empty, then you can just use them to extend cartridge space, which is limited to 256k otherwise on M4.

Well, you can put any kind of additional ROMs into that area. However to properly initialize them your setup either needs Firmware 3.x or the BOOSTER ROM in ROM position 15.
Personally I use that area for FutureOS (ROMs B, C, D at 16, 17, 18) and some XROMs for it. I guess also some other ROMs (maybe from Orgams?) can be put there too. Just depends you much you enjoy ROM software. :) :) :)
