Sorting thru piles of boxed computer mags for disposal this fell out - the "Amiga Games Supplement" from issue 135 (June 1991) of New Computer Express. One article, "The Halcyon Days of Amiga Games", shows the following:
UK AMIGA GAMES CHART DEC 1988 UK AMIGA GAMES CHART MAY 1991
1) Operation Wolf 1) Lemmings
2) Double Dragon 2) Speedball 2
3) Thunderblade 3) SWIV
4) Batman 4) Fantasy World Dizzy
5) Football Manager 2 5) R-Type
6) Pacmania 6) Final Whistle
7) Elite 7) Little Puff In Dragon Land
8)Return Of The Jedi 8)F-19 Stealth Fighter
9) Daley Thomson's Olympic Challenge 9) A-10 Tank Killer
10) OutRun 10) Super Hang-On
It looks to me that the 1988 chart might as well be the CPC games chart for that year, I think most (all?) of the games listed were released for the CPC as well as the other home computer formats.
Ha, so true...
There was a lot of cross over in the late 80s before the 16-bit machines really started getting titles which flexed them beyond what the more humble 8 bits could pull off.
