Today Ι was exploring my old disks that most dont work, and one game has survived all these years.
It is a traditional Greek card game, called XERI, where each player throws a card. If you have the same number of the card that your opponent just played (or simply a < J >), you take all the cards in the middle.
The game is in Greek only. The developer is Nikolaidis Kostas in 1985, as mentioned in the intro.
I remember that game very well from my childhood, playing it οn AMSTRAD. I have not found it anywhere else, in any database or any video, so I upload it here and I also made a small video.

It actually looks like a well polished game. It is great when things like this are found and rescued :D
Pretty nice, for an early game and if you liked your cards.
It's really great when such software (local and of local interest) gets found and preserved... how I wish I could find all the Greek programs from my childhood (mainly educational, but oh well)!
Questions to our Greek friends: How do you like the Greek characters? Are they good? Would you use them? Are they good for other programs/games?
I think this charset was pretty standard back in the day, works fine and is very legible but nothing to write home about with regards to aesthetics.

I will agree with Gryzor.

Any link by any change? (Not the game - the character set).
But on topic again: I had a play, and this game here is fun too. Thanks for the DSK Skylas. :)

I don't have these fonts, I guess you can ask Christophe. :)
Indeed the font in Ninja was a very pleasant surprise. Original and very very functional, but pretty too!
Updated! Just found:
1) PRO-PO, a greek program makes advanced calculations for PRO-PO, an old popular game for betting in 13 football matches (only 11,12, and 13 wins).

2) GEOGRAPHY. A program in English that is a platform and you can enter countries and capitals, and then save the list, or search. Nothing was in the list, but i added Greece, and it was saved correctly.
I added these in the first post, as attachments
Thanks for sharing :)
ProPo was really popular as a theme for local software! I remember the Compupress ads...
Geography looks like a nice introductory exercise in databases :)
If these are all BASIC programs it might be useful to List them at the end of the video. :)
Yes they are :)
Another one that I found (already existed in dsk files uploaded on the internet), is prime minister of Greece. Uploaded in 1st post.
I made a small video for that nice game!
