Hi all

Here is part 1 of my many years micro related. Some of the dates are a bit cloudy, but hey im 52 years old.

1975 - My dad takes me to see JAWS. In the foyer was a PONG machine. Thats it I'm hooked. The film was ok too.
1975 - Santa brings me a Binatone console with PONG,SQUASH,SOCCER and some thing else on the ROM. Great machine indeed.
1977 - STAR WARS was the film i went to see but in the foyer it was Atari's BREAKOUT that caught my eye.
1978 - The local milk bar is overrun with kids. Young kids,old kids. i can just see through crowd. I see it. I hear it. SPACE INVADERS, i think ive died and gone to heaven. If only i could have a go.
1979 - A small video game hall opens in my town. GALAXIANS,ASTEROIDS plus others. Could things get any better in the eighties? Find out next time.....

I hope all this aint borin you lot, but this is a great way to vent ones nostalgia.

Sure is... music is my first love. ive seen capt and the damned at various places in leeds over the years. weldone

i'm afraid to say the cpc played only a small part over years. its only now that i appreciate how good it was.

odd thing is, i'm from leeds and the last damned gig i went to was in bradford 8)

Teeheehee, i live in County Galway, last year I travelled to holmfirth to see the saw doctors, who come from just up the road from me here lol.
