Thought I'd share some pictures of some old Amstrad plastic bags I found in the loft collection. Given the age of these the condition is like new and proves the environmental concerns of these things. Its a shame they couldn't use this plastic for the computer cases no yellowing here!
Hope you enjoy the nostalgia trip
Damn. Thanks for sharing!
Can I ask what goodies came in the bags originally? :)
Probably given during some event or convention.
Flyers and other advertisement I guess.

Exactly that! I was given them by a family friend who went to the shows. I wasn't allowed to go, too far away and too young to be allowed an opinion on the matter.
Well they're not going to yellow ever because it's a completely different plastic and most importantly, doesn't contain Bromine because plastic bags don't legally need to be fireproof. As for general degradation, if they had been buried in earth and exposed to the elements, they would probably have started disintegrating by now, but it relatively dry, warm air they will last for centuries.
Bryce.
Just goes to show that Amstrad stuff really lasts the test of time...
