Hi Folks,
I have read helpful stuff on this forum many times when repairing 464's and thought I should join now as I have a question of my own and thought it appropriate to introduce myself as a first post.
I get a ton of SEGA and Commodore stuff from contacts that do house clearances and local auction houses, from time to time I get an Amstrad, usually I just clean them up, replace the bands, do a bit of work on the tape deck, sometimes the power switch needs fresh solder etc, never anything too complex really as they are not really what I grew up with but I do love them, always feels a bit special when I get one.
Ant.
Welcome mate :) You're doing gods' work by saving those machines :D
Thanks, if I don't manage to get the one I have issues with up and running I will make sure it goes to someone that can :)
Also just donated to the forum, figured its the least I can do given the assistance I have had from it.
