Just noticed that CPC-Power passed onto the second position.
Anyhow, even though the script is not very accurate (very often it disagrees with Google Analytics and it always produces low figures), it does give a nice image of the scene, and this image is, from what I see, that the scene is flourishing... how nice is this? :)
Where is this list?
ps ... there's no image appearing?
You mean at the bottom? You can't see the "1 CPC-Topsites" image right at the bottom? Maybe you have the server blocked or something? It's served by http://cpc-live.com/topsites/button.php?u=Gryzor . You can see the list, anyhow, at http://cpc-live.com/topsites/ .
Oh at the bottom of the page ... oh I see now ... thought you meant you'd put a link or image in your posting. Nevermind ... move on, nothing to see here .... ;)
It's so easy to cheat the statistics on that site too! :P Not that I'll be robbing the top position - those Top 3 sites are fixed. Though I have a feeling the Winape site maybe cheating too! ;)
Cheat? Do tell us how!
This site is not cheating, though - if nothing else, Google Analytics, as posted a while ago, show significantly higher numbers...

It's nothing special and there's probably a way to program a bot in such a way to have Topsites believe that people are visiting your site when you haven't been through Topsites. But what happens - if you have an ISP which Dynamically Assigns an IP Address everytime you Connect, Top Sites recognises it as another visitor and increases the total for the day up which pushes up the average. Not practical sitting around logging into your ISP and clicking Refresh on your site, though it's handy to have your site as the home page for everytime you Connect to the Internet! ;)
I don't think the Wiki is Cheating either! :) I think the only benefit from doing that with your site is as a promotional thing, Google seems to have pushed it up on it's list as an active site which has attracted others with an interest in the subject of my website to come and have a look.
Er... yes. Kind of a dumb way of cheating! Btw, I think all ISPs nowadays don't assign different IPs each time your router reconnects, but instead change IPs every few days... so it'd be extra-extra difficult!
Btw, according to Google Analytics, we're not getting over 500 unique visitors daily, regularly :)

Ah well - it maybe different in Europe, cause the method I described earlier definitely works and Topsites will list it under a different visitor! ;D Don't know what you guys use in Europe, though I'm on a Wireless Pre-paid system, so everytime I disconnect and reconnect a different IP is reassigned, their usually a variant.
Wireless is a totally different beast - you've got different access points, so indeed the IP changes all the time; whereas with landlines the IP is actively attributed...
