December Magazine 2015 by Gametraders (http://issuu.com/gametraders/docs/decembermagazine/1)
Christmas of 1988 was when it all changed for me. A week before I had received my first Amstrad CPC computer & the rest was history!
This month I was given more pages, so the Gamer Diaries are on pages 70 - 75 with plenty of Amstrad goodness.
I also wrote a current gen article on NFC figures on pages 78 & 79 if anyone's interested :)
This was a great read! :)
Very similar to my project "8bit Stories" that I've been working on for the past few years, except of course that it contains a lot more stories.
You should consider collecting all your stories, and put them into a future issue of "8bit Stories" some day. ;) Maybe also elaborate more on them when you get to that point.
I kinda looks like you have a lot more to tell than the magazine has space for anyway. ;)
Thankyou so much!
I have considered compiling & expanding on them & possibly publishing them at a later date. There is a lot more to tell & a lot of things left out. I'd love to get indepth into some of the game more, but the bulk of the space gets taken up with narrative instead.
Next month is more Amstrad goodness, but after that we start to head into Nintendo territory, when I started to lose my way :)

My procedure goes like this:
Author a story.
Wait.
Read it - change a lot and add a lot I'd left out.
Wait.
Read it again - change a lot and add a lot I'd left out.

I've lost count on how many times I've done this for each story. But the end result is of course totally worth it in the long run.
Sometimes a single story needs to be split up into two. Suddenly you have 40 stories written down, and you initially thought there'd be about 20 max.

"8bit Stories" issue 1 isn't only about the Amstrad CPC either. It's about all the retro computers I experienced as a kid.
See the link in my signature for more info. You are definitely welcome to use the label "8bit Stories" to release your stories.
My own collection of stories will be issue 1. Yours could be issue 2.
I'll be releasing mine as a downloadable blu-ray ISO file. A suitable format when there'll be supplemental videos and background music.
It'll be kind of like a diskmag presentation of an eBook thingy. :)
Thanks for the offer. I'm so overwhelmed by the response that I don't know exactly what I want to do when it's all over. For now I'll just keep writing them & when it's all over I'll explore my options :)

That's a good idea.
Hopefully by then, "8bit Stories" issue 1 has been released, which should help you make up your mind. ;)
Nice read, but that picture of Giana Sisters is strange to me.... CPC version looks like this...
Sorry for the old vid.
In the article I talk about the C64 version, so the picture in the article should be of that. Actually, I've still never played the CPC version.
