A quick post to introduce myself. I live in Australia but am originally from the UK. On a recent trip to the UK I picked up an 'untested' CPC464.
When i got it home, it didn't work (no real surprise there), but I fixed it with the help of this great diag ROM https://github.com/llopis/amstrad-diagnostics
So 5 RAM chips later, and it's all working great. I decided to build a ROM emulator for it. I'll share more details on the hardware forum.

Something like the Inicron ROM-RAM-Box. Or a MegaFlash - FlashGordon... or some of the other expansions which can be seen more or less in this forum. :)
