Hello, everyone,
Thank you for welcoming me among you.
I don't have a lot of Amstrad experience yet, even though I played with Amstrad computers as a child about 30-35 years ago at a friend's house.
This summer I bought myself a 464 with a monochrome screen, not much but a good start.
A friend of mine found some old cassettes at his parents' house, usually with games on them, so I can't wait for the big test!
This is how it all got started. Again ;-)
Welcome! :) :) :)
Welcome and have fun reliving it all 😊
Welcome! A lot to learn and a lot to play old and new, enjoy your Amstrad trip!
Welcome Antoine,
If yours is a short-board with plenty of room inside, and with 2 rows of solder islands next to the expansion port, consider getting a Ulifac for like 25€ and built it in your machine, you will have 6128 possibilities with disk images on USB and 256kB of RAM. Makes the 464 really nice to use.
Indeed, that would be a big leap.
Well, it probably depends on your DIY skills.
By the way...
Welcome in the house of amstrad addicted...
Have you got your medicine already? :D
Stefan
Sell it and run away from this forum before you get addicted and have no time, money or space in your house for anything else. ;)
Or get a CPC6128 and an M4 expansion to run professional software too. :) :) :)
Well, I'm not even talking about the 6128plus with SF3 ;) ;D :)
Thank you all for your messages of sympathy :)
@retro space, where can I find this Ulifac card? She seems interesting.
