Title: Hello and Thank you
Post by: NaMcO on 10:18, 12 September 18
Hello, thank you for adding me. Can't think of anything more cliché to type right now  ;D

Proud owner of a CPC6128, CTM644 and also a Commodore 64 Breadbin plus Commodore 1541. Also a future ZX Spectrum Next owner. I don't own any Speccies as i have sold them (128+ toastrack, disciple, microdrives, interface 1, 48k Speccy, +3, +2A and a +2) due to major lack of space for all of them, but i love them nevertheless. I like everything retro actually.

Future upgrades will include an external SDCard floppy emulator for the 6128, a really amazing machine (i really don't like modifying the original machines).

Cheers from Portugal  ;)

Welcome to the forum!

So which system did you 'start using' I mean, back in the 80's? was the CPC something you came across early on, or is it something you picked up more recently?

I hope you enjoy the forum!

Speccy 48K. Then some other models, the Timex 2048 with FDD3000, Spectrum Plus and later on a +2 and +3. Only more recently have i tried a few CPC and C64 emulators. I liked the experience so much that i ended up purchasing the actual hardware and boy am i glad i did it.

Still on the fence about the Spectrums, those were the machines i started with so i might get one again someday.

But this is a CPC forum and i joined to know more about the CPC as i intend to program or convert stuff i made for the Spectrum, so enough Speccy/C64 from me here  ;D ;D

(enters the party just as everybody's leaving)

Believe me, most of us are interested in anything retro really, so dicsussions on other machines are just fine :)
