Hello there!
I was told about this forum by Xyphoe a while back and I finally decided to register as I've been spending more and more time playing with Amstrad emulators. I never owned one myself as I was more a Speccy guy but I have a lot of respect for Amstrad partially because they saved Sinclair for a few years, and also because I've seen some amazing software on the CPC that I wish I experienced back in the day.
I'm looking forward to being a part of the community.
Welcome ;) it's true the CPC had some great games, but also a lot of speccy ports. Avoid those as they tend to run a lot slower on the cpc than the same code on the original speccy. So, unless you find the speccy is too fast, it's best to play those titles on the speccy, or not at all!

Hello and welcome flibblesan.
hello hello I can only concur when a game was written on an Amstrad it showed its strengths, the 3D Freescape games for instance were developed using CPC6128s.

Welcome here. CPC and Speccy are kind of brothers anyway. So feel well and enjoy. :)
