What are you looking for ? Everything on the CPC is "pixel art" (maybe not always the best).
You will be able to find what I consider as best on all the graphic modes on my museum :

Don't know about games, but there's a drawing of a hungry CPC 6128 in Painting Fantasy (http://cpcrulez.fr/img/3/rex-disk_burger.png) (a Slide Show by Rex) and another one in Rebels Slide Show 1 (http://www.grimware.org/lib/exe/fetch.php/graphics/made/rss1/l.cpc.png) (by MaDe).
