Just wanted to say hi and thanks to a lot of people most are in this forum.
When i was a kid i had a Schneider CPC 664. The only ASM i knew was INC A, DEC A and NOP ;D
Since this years VC³ i'm digging a bit more deeper into the CPC.
I was missing a lot as a kid.
Some infos about me:
I'm 49yo living in Upper Franconia.
I owned Vectrex, Atari2600, CPC664, Aaaaaamigaaas.
Beside coding i love chip music, tracked music, emulators.
Have a good 2025!
Max

Welcome to the forum. That sounds a bit like my history with the CPC. I missed a LOT. I came back to the CPC only a few years ago, short before COVID took over and gave me some extra time to dive in a bit deeper.
Do you still own the 664?
Btw, you might be interested in this event as it's just around the corner:

Sadly the Vectrex and the CPC and much more i don't wont to mention or think about is lost.
TBH i miss a lot of the hardware which i lost over the decades. Thats why i love emulation.
I resurrected some peripherials last year. VT220 terminal together with a IBM serial thermo printer and an US Robotics. They just worked like no time passed by. Hope to find the Atari2600, i know it's there but haven't found it yet in my chaos. I also remember that i have a lot of CPC magazines hidden in the attic waiting for discovery, guess my Amigas have been eaten up by evil Varta.
Thanks for pointing to the event. Added to my calendar.
Hi DrSnuggles, welcome here! :)
I remember you well from the VC3!
Would be cool to see you and Eto at the Classic Computing 2025, it's always great to be there!
Hi and welcome! Enjoy the power of the CPC :) :) :)
Hi and welcome!
If you like tracking, check out Arkos Tracker 3, a Windows-Linux-Mac tracker for CPC :). Link in my signature!

I'm not a music composer but AT3 as well as PT3 playback routines are already added to my libs 8)
Converting a little MIDI file and playing back worked like a charm with Arkos Tracker 2 and 3.
Info:
In v3 web i missed "Manual->The players->Examples" and "Manual->The players->Z80 comp"
Specially this page was an important entry point for me. I understand that this is now more included in Disark but i would keep that information in v3.

Yes, the new website is a work in progress, there are still a lot of pages to add. Glad you tested AT3!

Welcome! What a rare thing to meet an actual owner of a 664. There are only 10 of you in total ;-)
Welcome!
