Title: Hi from Belgium ^^
Post by: darthnuno on 10:21, 06 November 24
Hello guys,
Born in 73, I started my "computer life" with a ZX81, following by the Amstrad CPC464  8)
As many here, I'm looking to collect all the games I played on this machine, or at least play them again to revive my memories...
Many interesting topics here, so I had to subscribe ;-)

Greetings from Antwerp

Also born in 73, started with a Colecovision ADAM and ended up with an XT instead of an Atari ST.
So got stuck in the PC scene until I decided to get into 8-bit and 16-bit Atari finally in 2019.

And now recently discovered Amstrad CPC due to it's similary AY/YM chip with the Atari ST.
Off course after a cheap second-hand 464 2 months ago, it was soon followed by a 6128.

Just visited my first event , Benediction Coding Party in France.
Still taking my first steps on the CPC having no prior knowledge of it during my youth.

Hi guys and Welcome,

From CPC-Freak-Belgium I did hear quite a while ago, that some CPC users in Belgium speak Netherlands.

Since there is probably not so much software in this friendly language, please allow me to link you to our newly released disc-mag, also with Dutch language support. See there:

Sorry, to get a bit off-topic here. Yes, you do need FutureOS for it. And you can download everything you need at www.FutureOS.de
If you have any questions: Either PM me here, ask in 'FutureOS corner' or Email me - just the way you like it. However a CPC6128 or 6128plus is desirable over a CPC464/664.  :) :) :)

Hello :)

I did the same, tried to at least have copies of all the games I remember playing on the CPC in the 80s with my friend, even bought the same joystick he had (the awful Wico Boss joystick lol). For the rest, I bought one of those cassette adaptors people used in their car stereos in the 90s and jammed it into the tape deck and loaded up the tape images using a laptop's headphones output connected to the cassette adaptor mini jack.
