Hi fellow Arnold freaks,
Just want to be somewhat polite and say 'hi' to everyone, since I just joined the board (and actually already raised a question on another thread...)
The Amstrad (Schneider) CPC464 was my first love back in 1985, and I had a lot of fun in programming and gaming.
As time went by, I got an Amiga 2000 later, but the CPC was never forgotten - I used to have emulators on the Amiga and later on on the Linux machines I'm working with.
Now I decided that it is about time to teach my kids someting about computer and programming, so they (well, and also I myself) got a Raspberry PI2, and it was just a matter of time until I looked for an Amstrad emulator for RPI.
So I read about CapriceRPI2 and eventually ended up here at the CPC wiki to get some suppport and to reminisce about the times long ago :-)
Keep the CPC spirit alive!
Peter
Hello and welcome!
The 464 was my first love as well.
These days I find myself wanting to relive the golden years all the time!
Hello and welcome also!
I still have my 464. :)
Hello and welcome Peter.
Hi there! Enjoy the forum, the CPCWiki and of course ... Welcome! :)
Thanks for the kind words, guys!
Hey, I was able to take Jet Set Willy to space again after, well, almost 30 years :-)
Welcome man!
Nice use of the A2000, if nothing else :D
