Somehow I'd totally missed this article written by Optimus. Not sure if it's been mentioned before... http://www.hugi.scene.org/online/hugi38/hugi%2038%20-%20demoscene%20reports%20optimus%20cpc%20in%20the%20year%202012.htm (http://www.hugi.scene.org/online/hugi38/hugi%2038%20-%20demoscene%20reports%20optimus%20cpc%20in%20the%20year%202012.htm)

The rest of the mag is here: http://www.hugi.scene.org/online/hugi38/ (http://www.hugi.scene.org/online/hugi38/)
I've read Hugi#38 so many times and ONLY JUST realised that I am mentioned in Optimus's review.
Thanks! ^_^
I am never mentioned anywhere... :(
how lucky you are.
I quite licked the making off Still rising.
It was a pretty solid Demo.

Yes, you can download all the issues here: http://www.pouet.net/groups.php?which=87 (http://www.pouet.net/groups.php?which=87)
And take a look at online content here: Hugi Online Issues (http://www.hugi.scene.org/online/)
Afaik Hugi has been the biggest PC scene Diskmag for over a decade.
It does also have all the elements of a Diskmag I'm looking for - except the content sadly.
Always awesome music and graphics, and the mood is set accordingly.
But I just have to accept that I'm not a whole lot interested in the modern scene.
I've tried reading it anyway, and find that I'm often having difficulties reading it, due to too many spelling errors. I think they should improve on that matter somehow.
Then I much more enjoyed reading Retro Gamer CD. Really well written - and sticking with topics I'm interested in. ;)
The only thing it's missing is the music, so you'll have to put on your own. :)

True, the latest edition didn't have anything CPC related.
I was a bit disappointed about that too.
But previous editions does contain CPC stuff.
