HxC Direct Access failure

So I'm trying to run"hxc on the AUTOBOOT.HFE file, in order to select a HFE file from the File-Explorer.
But when it attempts to load the HXCSDFE.CFG file it fails. Direct Access fail.

Anyone tried this?

Have you formatted the SDcard just before you copied the files over?

Have you tried other SDcards? The HxC is actually very compatible, but there are still
a few cards that won't work with the device.

Thanks. Apparently it was the card. I had another older one that worked.

 SD cards have been the biggest problem for me; even known good cards would stop working out of the blue...
