In the two categories (CPC Plus and CPC standar)...
My favourite 'standard' CPC demo is
Backtro (http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=4138) by Overflow, especially the first part. I love the music and all the very colourful textures used in the tunnels.
I don't really have a favourite demo for Plus machines, though.
The Midline Process for me... brilliant demo!
all of Logon system's stuff was good especially THE DEMO
loved poo7 and malibu
the magical demo was fun too
That Backtro one is really neat, but my favorite CPC demo is DTC (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEFDKup7il8)
I also like Unique by N.W.C. Think it has a lot of atmosphere.
The LOGON demos very impressed me much, can't say why.
My favourite CPC demo is Midline Process (http://cpc-live.com/javacpc.php?system=CPC6128&disc=MidlineProcess.zip&boot=mp&title=Midline%20Process%20by%20Arkos&doubled=true&bilinear=true&scanlines=true&scaneffect=true) by Arkos.
I don't know why, but I love it...

Hi Rhino!
In my opinion,
CPC+: Sappy (by Grim of Arkos/Sml), PHAT (by No Recess)
CPC: Midline Progress, DemoIzArt (last part by Taghan of Arkos), DTC (Ramlaid of Arkos and Beb of Overlanders), Tire Au Flan (Madram and Beb of Overlanders) and of course BackTro (Overflow of Logon - with Beb's graphics!)
we speak,
voxfreax

Loading Applet failed. :(
Don't think Java-CPC runs that well on Linux?

Seems that Linux has some sound-driver problems, and so JavaCPC has timing problems...
Does WebCPC work on Linux? (http://devilmarkus.de/webcpc)

Doesn't look like it. Stays at a black screen with some grey writing in the top.
I almost forgot:
Demo Iz Art is also a great demo!
Thanks to new CRTC emulation in JavaCPC you can watch it fully here (http://cpc-live.com/javacpc.php?system=CPC6128&disc=DemoIzArt.zip&full=true&bilinear=true&scanlines=true&scaneffect=true&title=Demo%20Iz%20Art&crtc=1&boot=dia)
Especially the "Twist" and the "Gates Of Delirium" parts are really impressive!
