Info on Gem Software??

Hello, am looking for any info available on Gem Software, authors of some of the Roland games for Amsoft. Can't find much on Google, bar their list of software. Does anyone know who Gem were, ie owners/programmers? Where they were based perhaps, or what became of them post-Amsoft?
