Title: Interview with Rolf Lakämper
Post by: Dubliner on 20:04, 05 February 25
This one has been a total pleasure to do. Rolf tells us about the begining of the gaming industry in Germany and the role of the Schneider CPC in it. I hope you enjoy it :)

Most interesting aspect for me is that there was indeed a German games company that (at least temporarily) focused on the CPC and released games that originated from the CPC and were ported to other systems.

@Xyphoe I think we discussed that some time ago. That article gives some insights into German games development.

I had two German games, and both looked awesome and were coincidentally based on comic book/cartoon characters:

- Pink Panther
- Clever & Smart

Both were frustrating, but very original too. The second one, I always felt it was like an early GTA game. I personally believe the first one should have been a graphic adventure, and the second one could have used some directions to the player to make it great.

Really nice interview! I also knew CALL 17 followed by CALL 20 back in the days, seems it made it's way around North Rhine-Westphalia :D
