Title: Is it possible to Save a Snapshot to tape, and load into real CPC?
Post by: trellis on 21:48, 28 May 09
Subject says it all, really, but to paraphrase slightly:
Is there a way of saving a snapshot from an emulator to a tape file which can then be loaded back into a real, physical CPC machine?

It seems that Multiface saves require the Multiface to be present to load the snapshot back, which is a bit disappointing since the Spectrum version of the Multiface creates a snapshot that can be loaded back without the Multiface present (if you don't mind a bit of screen corruption).

Any help appreciated :-)

I know there is a utility called "Anti Multiface" which will load multiface saves without Multiface, but you do need a 128K machine and I think it is disc only.

I also think you can run Snapshots on a real CPC by using SymbOS.
I also think i remember a program which can run snapshots on a real cpc, but it must be a 128k machine again.
Hmmm..
Look on genesis8.free.fr and look in the files section.
I am sure there are some programs here.
