Last time I saw one of these was over 25 years ago. Just found one for 5€.
ToDo:
-get a good 5V SMPS --> done
-make a RGB cable --> parts ordered, did not work, got a picture with luminance connected to composite video.
-test functionality
-get a DDI-1 and HxC
-play and have fun
Good addition to my 8-bit machines (NES, Commodore 64, Vectrex).

Welcome here and have fun :)
I was scrolling up to the top of the page and I was captivated by that nice big picture of a '464 ;D , and now I think we should have one on every page. ;D
Ooh, nice one, I think I saw that on eBay?
Welcome here, hope you stay and have lots of fun :) Also, nice to see you've read up on the details!
@steve: I could do it, then run and hide from users protesting for the wasted space :D
I found it from a local second hand store. I wondered what it was and left it in the store. At home I googled about it and decided to add it to my 8-bit collection. I bought it the next morning. It's a good pair to my C64G.
You "wondered" what it was? Only the best European 8-bitter! :D
I think they were popular in Finland, weren't they?

I only had seen it once before at my friends house. His big brother borrowed one and played with it. Then he changed the game and had a very long coffee break. The loading seemed to take forever. This was over 25 years ago.
I tested the machine today. Did not get any picture with RGB cables. Luminance to composite video gave a BW picture anyway. This was good enough to verify the machine works. I guess it's time to order some AD724 chips.
Well, all tape-based machines took their while to load... part of the charm :)

I still have one or two of these available if you are interested: Limited batch of new S-Video Adapters. (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/amstrad-cpc-hardware/limited-batch-of-new-s-video-adapters/)
Send me a PM if you want one.
Bryce.
Thanks for the offer but I'll make my own. I have access to a PCB router.
