Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get a scan of this book?
Many thanks
No idea, I would also like to know.
@dthrone (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=350) was offering this book a couple of days ago. Amstrad CPC Books (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/general-discussion/amstrad-cpc-books/msg94764/#new)
Perhaps someone close could scan it and unload it to the wiki!
This particular book I've noticed has had Chapters 5 through to the Index scanned in and is on the Wiki (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Master_Machine_Code_on_your_Amstrad_CPC_464_%26_664). Guess the rest of the book was put on the Back burner?
Oops, I also noticed dthrone was offering "Mastering Machine Code". Obviously a different book.
Correct, I've already arranged to send it to jonesypeter. I don't have scanning facilities unfortunately.

Yep, details as follows:
Master Machine Code on your Amstrad CPC 464 & 664 |
|
Jeff Naylor - Diane Rogers |
|
Sunshine (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Sunshine) |
|
Mastering Machine Code on your Amstrad |
|
Clive Gifford - Scott Vincent |
|
Interface Publications (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Interface_Publications) |
|
Full title is actually "Mastering Machine Code on your Amstrad 464/664/6128".Be interesting to compare "Screen Fill" routines from both books though. "A Fill Routine (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Master_Machine_Code_on_your_Amstrad_CPC_464_%26_664_-_A_Fill_Routine)" that's in "Master Machine Code on your Amstrad CPC 464 & 664" is very fast (faster than BASIC 1.1 Fill), probably due to performing less checks in areas Filled, still quite good.

Looks like I missed the boat. You snooze you lose I guess. :-[
I do have a scanner though so if anyone wants books scanned in then I could do it, although it is quite a tedious process.

Master Machine Code on your Amstrad CPC 464 & 664 by Jeff Naylor & Diane Rogers can also be downloaded:
ENGLISH/SUNSHINE_BOOKS/Master_machine_code_on_your_AMSTRAD_CPC464-664(Jeff_NAYLOR_Diane_ROGERS)(acme).pdf]https://acpc.me/ACME/LIVRES/[ENG]ENGLISH/SUNSHINE_BOOKS/Master_machine_code_on_your_AMSTRAD_CPC464-664(Jeff_NAYLOR_Diane_ROGERS)(acme).pdf (https://acpc.me/ACME/LIVRES/%5BENG)
which appears to be similar to Clive Gifford & Scott Vincent book, though it came out earlier and much less pages.
It doesn't look like those books won't teach someone how to write an assembly game though, they can bring use Machine Code routines for someone writing something in BASIC.
