Not a CPC in sight unfortunately but OH!...... the memories.
I used this in 89/90, did anyone else use Micronet?

I can remember some kind of deal with BT & Commodore and you got a 300 Baud Modem and access to some kind of C64 BBS/Chat Room kind of thing it was quite laugh at the time. When it worked and when i wasn't getting wrong off me ma  :D

The phone bills were quite steep as well so me dad took the modem off me  :'(

I'm loving the old school telephone next to the Beeb on the right. Did anyone ever use those Acoustic Coupler's i saw them but never used one. I did see some clown using one in the old BT Phone Box to send some data. It was funny even back then, it sounds ludicrous now.  :)

They actually broadcast a program during the end credits? What an odd idea. I wonder if it ever worked and does anyone know what the program was?

With the BBC micro and the teletext adaptor you could download programs from both Ceefax and Teletext. The games were quite good. The games used multiple pages, all of that was hidden in the first few lines of the picture.

I also know of some records where there was audio which you could load into the spectrum, and one of these had a game.

I know of some other programs that had "data bursts" which were only a few frames of information at the end and you had to use a video player or something to slow down the picture to read it.

Which method does this program use? Is it in the teletext or as audio?

If you download the video and extract the audio track, it looks like a standard computer tape recording:

Which computer is it for? Have you tried using freeuef to see if it's for the bbc micro?

I cannot for the love of God find that damned MakeUEF utility as acornpreservation.org does not exist anymore and FreeUEF just converts UEF files back to WAV files.

I tried a couple of emulators but none will load WAV files...  :picard2:

You'll find attached the wav file if you like to play with it.

The audio definitely sounds like a BBC micro program, but it seems short. It has the leader and a small data block.
Is there any more?

The version of MakeUEF I used doesn't find anything.

Maybe the program continued after the credits and isn't included in the YouTube video.
